Screen Divas Reality Show

Quick comment on Screen Divas reality show ....
Yes I watch it.
Yes its engaging.
I want to change the channel cos I kinda know where they are heading but somehow I cant cos I'm like are they serious now or are they acting?...
Seriously, its fun to watch and I catch myself laughing hysterically because its supposed to be about these 4 divas coming together to do something against domestic violence but if care is not taken they will kill each other before they can help anybody. Lol.

Its a great job.
Well done to the quartet and everyone else that supported them including Ebony Life Team and Mo Abudu for giving the show the time of day.

On another note Rirooo  please what's with the I'm too sexy to fully cross my legs pose of life in the pix below biko? ...Lol...
It is well...You are a diva...you can pose anyhow you want and it will be all right...Lol!

Holler to Kate (you know I love you girl...fit and grounded G! that's what you are)
Funke (You are an inspiration, especially after hearing how you appeared on set with all ya load from ya village to just shake ya head...Lol)
Uche...Uche..Uche (there is no drama queen like you...Love you loads)

Sharing my Laughter with you

So these are some funny photos I have shared on my BBM dp but I have some peeps who have complained that they hear about my funny dps but since they use Nokia phones they can't access my BBM DPs for now (who knows what the future holds for either them or Nokia) ...anyway...for their sake I will be sharing some of these photos here as well.

Enjoy!

P.S yes they are all stolen! I don't drink, smoke or 'manize'...I'm entitled to a vice and I choose DP robbery...lol!

Hollywood ooooo have MERCY!!! TINSEL/ Nollywood take a cue!

I was chatting with a friend in America about the current happenings in the series Scandal A.K.A 'The Fixer' on DSTV (by the way its produced by same guys behind Grey's Anatomy...did you know?)  and at a point in the gist I just had to remind her that the couple we are rooting for is actually committing adultery (Ok I'm a bit late with this cos practically every character  on TV is committing fornication *sigh*)  and that brings me to another emotionally engaging series...Beauty and the Beast...this one.... leaves me speechless every time I watch it and TRUST ME...I have watched it again and again and again...I can even recite some lines. It is that bad.

Let me digress a little with some of my thoughts in the past months on the concept of racism; see when an African greets a white man/ foreigner with a little more courtesy than he does to his fellow African, I dare say that it is beyond just the perceived superiority of the colour white over black or the concept of a strange accent being something to respect or even the power of their currency being more valuable than ours. No! I dare say it is because of the reservoir of applied intelligence through diligence resulting in repeated success and value that the white man/ foreigner's efforts have added to mankind including the African continent.

Basically what I am trying to say is that the African cannot but respect the white man/ foreigner  because his fore fathers put in the time and effort required to  invent the technology behind even something as basic and value adding as the clothes the African has on his back. Oyinbo dey try....Mbok! Oyinbo na winch.

They got people panting after a  whirlwind romance with a guy who turns into a beast when he is upset! ROTFL ...power of psychology which is the secret weapon Hollywood will forever have over the world!

Nollywood/ Tinsel and other soap operas who want to stay relevant and conquer the world; please take note... maybe you need to invest in  a psychologist among  your team of script writers.

Don't just write for writing sake...write to hit a nerve, to make an impact, to influence society, to invoke emotions...anger, passion, love, addiction, repentance, change...whatever... but don't just write for just writing sake. Stay on the edge! Push the envelope!

A wise man that came into my world recently made a statement I have been mulling over for a while now, he said; "Don't just play to participate, Play to WIN!"

Long Live The Nigerian Entertainment Scene *Amen*

May God forgive Olivia Pope and President Fitz... If it were Nollywood, the first lady should have invited some prayer warriors to the White House by now naaa and Olivia should have revealed her native doctor that is behind  her continuous ability to do the impossible and her ability to secure the love of Mr President. She would have shown us where she keeps her jazz by now and the reason why she wears white a lot.

As for Beauty and the Beast, they both should have gone for deliverance by now.

Come to think of it I think we are more imaginative O jare...Lol!

Compered the Wedding of the Year...Laolu & Aisha Marinho's

Last week, I compered what is being referred to as the "wedding of the year" in some circles and I am just blogging about it because I am just recovering from the impact...lol!

The wedding reception was everything you could dream of from a wedding/party perspective plus MORE!!!!

Reception commenced by like 4PM and ended by like 6.40PM but people didn't leave Harbour Point, VI,Lagos till like 9/10PM. Awesome parrtayyy!!!

I was using style to wait for pictures because some high profile guests were in attendance...from government to corporate Nigeria to entertainment circles but as the matter is entering voicemail like this I said let me share what I have with you so far my beloveds. When the pictures come, I shall update.

Some people know how to throw a party that is all I can say and I hear a lot of it was courtesy the genius bride...Aisha. I totally get it because from my little encounter with her before and during the reception I can say she is totally cool! As for the groom...he is a typical extrovert socialite...he was the LIFE of the party.

Great stuff! May God bless their marriage and make it as colourful and fun filled as the party was plus MORE!

The lovely Mr & Mrs Laolu Marinho
The delectable moi (in the middle) and 2 of my pals I bumped into at the wedding;

Random photos I just want to share

The reason why I avoid false anything in my life

The reason why I stopped buying Caprisonne for my children

I would choose....The Bible...yes REALLY!
..but none of the suffer head/ war torn parts....
maybe in the garden of Eden to warn Eve
or in Abraham's household to encourage Sarah
or maybe in early new testament to just give Jesus a BIG HUG!

The reason why politics remains a mystery to me

The reason why we should  not joke with potential fire hazards in Nigeria

The reason why if Yoruba Weddings were concerts; tickets would be sold out!

Compered at Best Of Nollywood Awards "Talent meets class'

Compered at BON Awards pre event...'Talent meets Class' on the 1st of November 2013 @ Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

The event was designed to be a networking forum for Nollywood and corporates. It was successful but I pray brand managers and indeed corporates can understand the power that is inherent in Nollywood for their brands and tap the potential before its too late.
Once people like me get our money complete we will block them forever...No apologies...Hehehe

Same goes for the government...when will they decode that Hollywood is America's own Oil and Gas?

See photos from event below.

For more photos of the army of Nollywood stars in attendance especially the very 'yallow' actresses you can visit HERE

The main Awards ceremony will hold at Asaba, Delta state this November and Comperes of the event will be Wana Wana of IFM and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st.

Yours truly has been offered complimentary plane tickets to attend with my hubby if we are interested...*sigh* fanning myself and checking my nails....Need to check our calendar to see if we will be available...Lol!
